BIO

Suzanne O Davis – Piano/Vocals:

Born in Cleveland, the home of Rock ‘n Roll, Suzanne began her musical journey at age 5 at the Cleveland Institute of Music, and it remains the driving force in her life. She initially studied piano and classical flute, garnering scholarships to summer programs and college in NC.  Although she was principal flautist in the Youth Symphony of the Carolinas, singing rock ‘n roll seemed much more exciting.  She switched gears, and that path led her to become a full-time musician and entertainer.

Suzanne has maintained a remarkably diverse and active career as a musician, performing globally from Dubai to South America. Her musical endeavors have led her to sold-out theaters, cruise ships, festivals, cabaret shows, and private corporate events.

Not only is she the producer of ‘Tapestry, the Carole King Songbook’, North America’s Premier Tribute to Carole King, but also recorded ‘The Carole King Songbook’ CD at the renowned Grant Ave Studios in Hamilton, ON.  Suzanne has had an incredible career but sought to distinguish herself from other tribute acts by creating a performance that is a both authentic and unique.

She believes that the essence of this show lies in delivering an organic and respectful homage to a musical icon who has made a profound impact on popular music, not an over-the-top impersonator presentation. “The real Carole King fans are loving the show, totally appreciate that we keep it real, and get the fact that I bring the vibe of Carole’s spirit with me onstage. The band and I feel that from the audience within the first song. Performing this catalogue is a perfect match for my abilities and experience. When I sing and play this music at the piano, I feel like I’ve really found my spot.”

Suzanne has certainly played enough shows to know when a performance is truly connecting with the audience. “The audience WANTS to go with me on this musical journey during these concerts.”

As this show thrives, she’s made the choice to focus on this successful production. Ms. Davis has achieved a perfect stride with this world-class tribute, which has proven to be the ideal fit for her piano/vocal skills, as well as her natural genuine ability to entertain. She captivates her full-house audiences with a passionate, energetic, and heartfelt delivery. Suzanne and this show shine with every performance, consistently earning standing ovations from the appreciative crowds.
